Why Vedic Education? 

In 1984, His Holiness Chinna Jeeyar Swamiji established the Jeeyar Educational Trust (JET) Vedic University to promote Vedic learning and preserve ancient wisdom. One of the key pillars of this mission is the Jeeyar Integrated Vedic Academy (JIVA) Gurukulam, which provides the essence of Vedic knowledge to all interested people, regardless of nationality, religion, caste, or race. At JIVA Gurukulam, students aged 8 to 14 years receive a comprehensive education that includes Vedas, Aagamas, Vedantham, Prabandham, Telugu, and Sanskrit, along with the regular state school syllabus from 6th to 10th grade. The curriculum combines traditional Vedic teachings with modern education, ensuring the holistic development of each student. Educating one Vedic student is considered an immense virtue—equivalent to donating 1,000 cows. More importantly, educating one Vedic student is like educating 1,000 people, as these scholars take their rich knowledge and values to communities worldwide, spreading wisdom far and wide.
